    Default Rodent homunculus?

Has anyone ever mapped a mouse or rat's homunculus? I can't seem to find anything...

Absolutely, most rodent brain atlases will give you the stereotaxic coordinates that you need. Most of the somatosensory mapping was done in the 60s and 70s, so finding primary literature on it will be a bit troublesome. If you are interested in some primary literature check out: The structural organization of layer IV in the somatosensory region (S I) of mouse cerebral cortex : The description of a cortical field composed of discrete cytoarchitectonic units. Thomas A. Woolsey, Hendrik Van der Loos. Brain Research Jan 20. 1970. This group was the first to fully characterize the barrel cortex.
