    Default Allan Schore

I'm a big fan of Allan Schore's work.

Anyone around here have any interest in his work?

The Art and Science of Psychotherapy is his latest book.

    I recommend it.

I've noticed that affective neuroscience seems like a slow category... I wonder why that is?

Slow category indeed. Affective neuroscience is sort of the black sheep of the psychological fields, due to its exploration of subjective emotinality in animals. Radical behaviorists consider this work a waste of time, but researchers such as Panksepp, Damasio, and Solms are producing an enomrous weight of evidance for animals emotional affect. I am not familiar with Dr Schore, but would be happy to discuss his theories, if you are still interested.
